A faith-based, multiservice senior care organization with a sixty-year history of service, seeks qualified candidate for our Handy House Doc Division.

SUMMARY

This remote/work from home position will require approximately 20 hours a week. Ensures the effective coordination and staffing of all client services. Serves as the initial contact for callers and the liaison between the Executive Director and clients, contractors, staff and others. Directs, guides and supports all marketing activities.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Direct, guide and support all customer service activities to include:
    • Respond to all daily inquiries via phone calls and internet messages, managing inquiry process and reports.
    • Discuss needs and services with current and potential clients.
    • Notify clients of assigned staff & vendors and timing.
    • Post advertisements and informational items on website and social media outlets.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Microsoft Office Suite skills required; experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, QuickBooks, accounting, accounting, and scheduling software preferred.
  • Other skills required:
    • Comfortable with software usage.
    • Ability to problem solve.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide trusting and knowledgeable home service to include:
    • Treat every client with the highest respect.
    • Arrive to the client’s home on time.
    • Maintain proper communications by calling the client in advance of arrival; provide upfront company ID and discussing work order.
    • Professionally and proficiently perform work order service.
    • Perform a full hour of service: “Is there anything more I can do for you? I have the time.”
    • Perform all work order, quote, job completion certificate, invoicing, and collection of payment, and downloading before and after pictures of service.
    • Wear and maintain all company approved clothing.
    • Supply clean and reliable transportation. Daily auto mileage will be calculated from job to job minus one round trip to our corporate office from your residence per Google maps.
    • Supply all hand tools needed to perform work orders.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Have 5 years of carpentry, and/or home electrical/plumbing system and general repair experience.
  • Familiar with HVAC systems
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Comfortable with software usage

    • Supply all hand tools needed to perform work orders
  • Maintain efficient and effective external/internal operations ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, systems, and processes
    • Responsible for turning in all payments, time sheets and other paper work at the appropriated time
    • Attend on time all requested Handy House Doc meetings
    • Maintain a small nut and bolt and small parts inventory
  • Adhere to appropriate risk management and safety procedures
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Have 5 years of Carpentry, Home electrical/plumbing system and General repair experience
  • Familiar with HVAC systems
